autumn and things

just the rest of the random moments from fall...

two of his most favorite people

charlie plays with his food much more frequently
than he actually eats it

haircut #2
just as traumatic as haircut #1 {for me}

he on the other hand, was quite pleased

with rex the dragon

brotha's from anotha motha

playing with papa and shoveling leaves
nothing could be better

dad's training camp

oh that boy
never thought i could love so intensely

shooting a little video for Miche bags with some of my girls

and now it's almost time for winter.
i'm trying to be brave.
planning lots of warm beverage drinking, jazz music listening, good book reading, charlie in the snow playing, lover and me by a fire cuddling, and sunny destination visiting
is helping...
so, bring it on winter,
i think i'm ready.

some johnson's in moab

due to hurricane sandy {the nasty beast} we had to postpone haiti for a week.
the upside however, was that we were able to sneak in a weekend camping trip to moab with nana and grandpa kent, ben, jen and the kids and
tee, dee and the twins.
we had so much fun and did all the appropriate camp-y kinds of things, the weather was perfect {take that hurricane sandy} and the only thing missing was our natles.

nana and her #1 fan

baby alice was such a little trooper

all the cousins

hoodlums

the triplets

roughin' it

movie nights. i mean what's a good camping trip without movie nights

that happy camper up there on the right,
this is the only picture captured of her-
stop hiding from the camera all the time tee

dirt, jeeps, vroom vrooms, cousins, marshmallows and fire
this kid was in his element
as usual it all went by too fast
and it wasn't the same without you nat.
guess we better go again, and next time seattle better let you come.

halloween

trick-or-treating in grama and papa's hood with the golf cart...
the best way to do halloween.

my big and little bears.

that frankenstein back there was legit,
well done mr. lipman.

so pleased with the night's events

a lot of focus goes into the choosing and the opening of the the best candies
from the night.

i mean, i've always liked halloween,
but halloween-ing with this little bear.. i've kind of fallen in love.
move over thanksgiving,
this might be our new second favorite holiday.

the farmer's market

we only made it to the murray farmer's market a couple times this year.
once for the pumpkin patch and a wagon ride and then for the it's last day before closing for the season.

charlie always loves it and so do we. i have a feeling it'll make the to-do list much more often next year.
