christmas in henderson.

it was our year to be with the radcliffe's for christmas,
so we packed it all up and headed to henderson for the week.

who needs a white christmas?

christmas eve at the bellagio.

CHRISTMAS MORNING.

3 of charlie's favorites:
dada, papa and uncle mikey {undle midey}

clark and eddie.
we spent lots of time relaxing, reading and playing with all the new toys.
{he loves story time with gramma.}

and obviously we spent lots of time visiting our favorite restaurants
and eating delicious food.
one of our favorites: lindo michoacan.
every time we go papa makes sure it's charlie's birthday

so naturally we partied it up.

and then we packed it all up again, and headed home.

christmas with charlie was magical.
he loved it all and we loved watching him love it all.
2 years old is the best.
i've decided that this is the age we'll stick with.

dear charlie,
you're not allowed to get one day older
and that's final.

 thank you for a lovely christmas gramma and papa radcliffe.
it was just perfect.

the santa visit. charlie's a fan.
it's the most wonderful time of the year.
and it just never lasts long enough.

grandpa in the sky

for thanksgiving {a lovely event of which i took zero photos}
we all headed to st. george, then henderson.
and in vegas that weekend my 82 year old grandpa went skydiving.
because he's just amazing like that.

 lots of cousins, aunts and uncles came out to support.

charlie was deeply impressed.

such an inspiration. 82 years old, still loving life and living it to the fullest.
well done grandpa.

the orphanage. a giant concrete building filled with lots of cold hard floors
and warm little hearts.

the birthday party for all the kids.

oh these faces...

i don't have the words to accurately describe our week at the orphanage.
simply put, it was life changing.
we're in love with all those sweet little souls
and we'll be connected to them for always.
